Sidney assumed the role of executive director of Philanthropy Network in July 2017. Immediately prior to joining the Network, Sidney spent eight years leading the Community Foundation of South Jersey (CFSJ) where he increased assets from $400,000 to $20+ million and positioned the foundation as a regional hub for philanthropic partnership and collaboration.

Sidney currently serves on several regional and national boards in the philanthropic sector, including Grantmakers for Effective Organizations, Wells Fargo Regional Foundation and CDC, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, and the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. Sidney is also a lecturer in the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Prior to leading CFSJ, Hargro was the Senior Officer for Strategy and Organizational Learning for The Columbus Foundation, the seventh largest community foundation in the U.S. with assets exceeding $1.5 billion. He earned a Master of Divinity, honors, with an emphasis on community organizing and civic engagement at the United Theological Seminary, a Master of Science in mechanical engineering at The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in mechanical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State.

Theresa joined the staff in November 2011 as Member Services Associate and was promoted to Director of Member Services and Information in December 2015. In her current role, Theresa manages the delivery of services for Philanthropy Network’s membership and guests. This includes the implementation of educational programs and events focused on grantmaking practice, implementation oversight and maintenance of Philanthropy Network’s member database, and leading the annual renewal campaign and other member retention efforts.  Theresa also serves as a primary point of contact for member inquiries and manages the work of Philanthropy Network’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce. 

Theresa is a graduate of Hampshire College with concentrations in American Studies and English/Creative Writing.

Kabria Rogers  KABRIA ROGERS

Kabria joined Philanthropy Network in April 2016 in the newly-created role of Administrative Associate. Kabria provides support across a wide range of functions including administrative and member services, programming and communications.

A self-described “day dreaming do-gooder,” Kabria's career has included work in corporate operations and as a freelance writer. 

Kabria holds a B.A. in English from King's College.

Amy Seasholtz

During her 20+ year tenure, Amy has served in a variety of capacities for the organization including most recently as Interim Executive Director from November 2016-July 2017. In her current position as Director of Communications, she is responsible for planning, managing, implementing, and evaluating communications to effectively advance the organization's mission, vision and goals. 

Previously, Amy was on staff at Yellow Springs Institute for Contemporary Studies and the Arts, an international residency and performing arts center in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, that supported the creation of new works in experimental theater, dance and music. Amy's prior experience as a corporate travel consultant afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout U.S. and abroad.

Amy holds a B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State she participated in a semester abroad at the University of Exeter in the U.K. She currently serves on advisory committees for the Regional Foundation Center and the Shop2Care Foundation.

Matt Smith

Matt joined the staff in 2005 as the Manager of Operations and Member Support, and was promoted to Director of Finance and Administration in 2012. In this role, Matt is responsible for leading and managing the ongoing business functions and administration of Philanthropy Network. Primary areas of responsibility include finance, bookkeeping and benefits administration; grant writing, reporting and management; governance and compliance; operations and office management.

Previously Matt worked for the American College of Physicians, where he served as coordinator for several medical research grants. He earned a B.A. in American Studies from Temple University.
