Strengthening Local Communities:
The Role of Nonprofit & Philanthropic Organizations

 

The 2017 Annual Capacity Builders Conference is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for nonprofit consultants, funders, academics and executives to convene, dialogue, and learn from one another.

The Alliance's conference is held in partnership with the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) 2017 Conference. This year's "Conference within a Conference" offers our attendees double the learning, double the networking and double the fun. Alliance and ARNOVA attendees are each welcome to attend any session hosted by either organization.


The four-day event includes:

  • Education and work sessions for our current Affinity Groups
  • Sessions for new attendees who haven't yet joined a group
  • More than 20 breakout sessions, curated by and for capacity builders
  • Several thought-provoking plenary sessions
  • And more...
