Rapid Response Convening:
Addressing the Immediate Needs of Immigrant & Refugee Communities

Please join your colleagues invested in local immigrant & refugee rights to learn more about the evolving implications of federal and local actions related to immigrants and refugees.  We will hear from local legal experts, city representatives, and community-based organizations, and learn about immediate funding needs to help address the fear and confusion in immigrant and refugee communities. Please come ready to learn and commit to action.

Speakers include:

  • Molly Tack-Hooper, Staff Attorney, ACLU
  • Joanna Otero-Cruz, Deputy Managing Director of Community Services, City of Philadelphia
  • Miriam Enriquez, Director, Office of Immigrant Affairs
  • Cathryn Miller-Wilson, Deputy Director, HIAS Pennsylvania
  • Margaret O'Sullivan, Executive Director, Nationalities Services Center
  • Sundrop Carter, Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition

We encourage both staff and trustees at member organizations to join in this session to help bring messages and actions from this important conversation back to your organizations.
