Join WOMEN'S WAY for the first in the 2024 Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum series on January 17th at 4:00 PM with a compelling conversation featuring WW's Chief Disruptor Diane Cornman-Levy, and Marjorie Kelly, Distinguished Senior Fellow with The Democracy Collaborative and renowned author of Wealth Supremacy: How the Extractive Economy and the Biased Rules of Capitalism Drive Today’s Crises. During this virtual event, Marjorie and Diane will explore what Wealth Supremacy is and how it connects to White Supremacy and the gender wealth gap.

Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how our current wealth extraction-based economic system is the root cause of all gender inequities and what steps we can take to build a more democratic economy. This session will set the stage for the remaining 2024 CGWG series, exploring alternative economic models that can form the foundation of a new, more just economy. This event, as well as a forthcoming exhibit as part of the series, is presented in partnership with The Free Library of Philadelphia.

NOTE: All Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum events in 2024 will be available in English and Spanish thanks to our partners at El Centro Integral de La Mujer Madre Tierra.
