Join The Alliance for Health Equity, in collaboration with the Health Services Leadership Group for their Let's Talk Allyship hybrid townhall on May 19th from 5PM - 7PM.

Learn how the community advocates, government, philanthropy, nonprofit and private sectors formed an Allyship to address healthcare equity and access to a continuum of care and its challenges in response to Chester County’s hospital closures.

Discussions relate to the formation and evolution of the Health Services Leadership Task Force, created from the closure of the Brandywine and Jennersville Hospitals. The Health Services Leadership Task Force, made up of leaders representing nearly 20 local and county organizations has been developing strategies to minimize disruption of healthcare services and rebuild a strong and equitable healthcare system in the region. It starts with understanding the equitable impact on the community’s morale, health, economics, which requires different perspectives, thoughts, ideas, and solutions to meet the challenging healthcare needs of all. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend!

This session is funded by the Imprints Fund of The Chester County Community Foundation.

Individuals interested in attending in-person are invited to join us at 190 West Lincoln Highway in Coatesville. Virtual attendance via zoom is also available. Registration is required to attend both the in-person and virtual townhall.
