We are pleased to introduce our new webinar series, Setting the Table, co-hosted by Sidney Hargro, President, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia and Marcus Walton, CEO, Grantmakers for Effective Organizations. Taking place every other month, this series invites guests to the virtual table to discuss a range of issues at the intersection of philanthropy, racial equity and social justice.
Inspired by Sidney and Marcus’s conversation in July on white supremacy, this space is intentionally curated to help participants think bravely and “imaginate” (imagine + create) a better future, ensuring we don’t settle for innovation as the future state but as an opportunity to create radical change. Conversations will grapple with racial constructs, work to unpack them and reimagine a system that centers and promotes racial equity.
