The grantees are a collection of grassroots organizations working across the region, with a focus on race, economic and gender justice
Build up Nepal has been named the grand prize winner of the 2023 Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize and will receive $250,000; ADES and Healthy Learners win $125,000 each.
$1 million will go to the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation to undertake a comprehensive strategic planning and community engagement process and $850,000 will go to Drexel University to expand access to the Atwater Kent Collection.
The summit offers an opportunity for attendees to meet local legislators and discuss how their organizations and groups can present interactive, inclusive, compelling experiences to commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, throughout 2026.
