The City of Philadelphia in partnership with Bread & Roses Community Fund announce grants of $15,000 to 30 grassroots organizations and community groups.
The initiative has awarded over $620,000 in grants in the last two years to advance community-driven solutions to historic food injustice.
In fourth round of distributions, 101 regional nonprofits receive more than $3.25 million, including ten organizations providing medical care to vulnerable communities.
In two rounds of grants from the Delaware County COVID-19 Response Fund, the Foundation for Delaware County has distributed $148,955 in emergency funding to 24 local nonprofits.
Over $2 million goes to 44 regional nonprofits in first round distributions. Grants will be awarded weekly as crisis continues and challenges grow.
