The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance announced the recipients of the 2015 Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Program Stream grants. This year the Cultural Alliance and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts awarded $301,803 to 104 organizations, with an average award of $2,880 for general operating support.
The Cultural Alliance is the regional partner agency of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Through the Partners in the Arts (PPA) program, the Cultural Alliance works with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to evaluate proposals and distribute grant awards for projects or programs involving artists throughout Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. This program enables the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to reach a wider audience by increasing access to funds for organizations and artists across the state, thereby increasing statewide audience exposure to arts activities.
The PPA Program Stream offers ongoing support to arts organizations and arts programs with an established history of PCA support. Program Stream is an invitation-only grant opportunity for organizations who have been previously funded in Project Stream, and applicants are invited to apply after several years of successful funding and high panel scores.
