Impact100 Philadelphia Celebrates its 15th Grant-Making Year

Friday, September 30, 2022

Philadelphia, PA (Sept 30, 2022) — Opening its 15th grants cycle, Impact100 Philadelphia celebrated yesterday evening with their Annual Membership Kickoff Event at Taller Puertorriqueño. A panel discussion, Engaging Community Voices in Your Work: An Impact Multiplier, featured local nonprofit leaders and was moderated by a member of Impact100Philadelphia. More than 80 individuals were in attendance in person and virtually for a raw and thought-provoking dialogue on how nonprofit organizations can focus their efforts in the best way for the community, as the community wants and needs.

“This was the best event I have attended [for our organization]” says Impact100 Philadelphia member. Another member noted “Our organization is consciously working to improve our grant-making process for both nonprofits and members. We are on the right track, but have more improvements we can and should do to make sure the impact of our funding is felt and the communities our nonprofits serve are seen.”

With a 2022-2023 membership goal of 465 members and a projected grant pool of nearly a half-million dollars, Impact100 Philadelphia seeks to broaden and deepen its impact in the community through another successful grantmaking year. With this goal reached, Impact100 Philadelphia members will have provided nearly $5 million to regional nonprofits since the organization’s founding in 2008. Learn more about the organization.

This fall, join Impact100 Philadelphia for our annual Fall Education Program, Member Information Sessions and Impactful Conversations. Join or donate and track our progress. In December, we will announce our member and funding totals at our Funding Celebration.

Impact100 Philadelphia thanks our members past, present, and future who make our organization better and stronger through their contributions. Without our staff and volunteers, none of what we do would be possible. We thank the nonprofit community for the work you do in the greater Philadelphia area and for helping our members better understand the issues in our community.
