Philanthropy Network President Jennifer Pedroni to Join FMA

Jennifer PedroniEffective January 2019, Philanthropy Network Board president Jennifer Pedroni will become Senior Consultant at FMA, a national consultant to nonprofit and philanthropic organizations whose goal is to build a community of individuals with the confidence and financial skills to lead organizations that change the world.  Pedroni will transition from her current role as VP of Administration with HealthSpark Foundation, which she has held since 2010.   She was elected President of Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia's Board of Directors in April 2018.

Prior to joining HealthSpark (formerly the North Penn Community Health Foundation) in 2003, Pedroni spent 13 years at the Annenberg Foundation. In both of these roles, she developed robust and sustainable structures and processes for the organizations. In addition to leading the board of Philanthropy Network,  she is a member of the Steering Committee for the Nonprofit Centers Network. Previously she served on the PEAK Grantmaking board for four years and as treasurer for three. Pedroni earned her Masters of Science in Organization Development from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University.

Pedroni's primary work with FMA will be to provide consulting, training, and coaching to Foundations and their grantees as part of FMA’s Consulting and Advisory Services team. Jennifer’s years of experience as a foundation finance and grants management professional, collaborator and leader in the philanthropic sector make her well positioned for this role. In addition, her organizational development skills will support FMA’s commitment to developing strong and trusting relationships between funders and their grantees. Her commitment to service, her deep roots in the Philadelphia region and her knowledge of foundation operations will contribute to FMA’s national growth and will strengthen the firm’s work in the Philadelphia and New Jersey region.
